THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPI state secretary Kanam Rajendran has denied reports that the party's national executive Kanhaiya Kumar will join the Congress.
'Earlier, it was rumored that Kanhaiya Kumar would leave the CPI and join other parties. What is unusual in discussing the problems faced by the country with leaders of other parties?' Kanam wrote on his Facebook page. He also hinted that Kanhaiya Kumar will attend the National Council meeting in the first week of October.
