THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The war of words between SFI and AISF followed by the clash during the MG University Senate elections continues as the SFI state secretary commented on the issue.

SFI state secretary Sachin Dev MLA said that what was happening against them is false propaganda and democracy need not be taught to them. Sachin Dev accused the AISF of trying to sabotage the elections. Dev said the SFI won the Senate election with overwhelming support and the AISF did not even get the votes of the independent candidates.

"The AISF is making allegations to cover up the shame of not getting a seat in the Senate. This is not the way of a left student organization. They are making false propaganda against SFI. Conflicts won't be justified. Why should SFI be provoked to sabotage a winning election? We are ready to check the bad behavior of activists. If SFI is involved in the circulating video, it can be probed. The AISF is spreading lies about a person who was not there", the MLA alleged.

Meanwhile, AISF National Vice President Subhesh Sudhakaran said that the attack on AISF was reprehensible. "The AISF did not suffer the same extinction as the SFI in West Bengal. SFI should not become another version of Sangh Parivar. It is not the Students Federation of India but the Fascist Federation of India", Subhesh Sudhakaran said.
