KOTTAYAM: Governor Arif Mohammad Khan said that there should be intervention in the hunger strike of the research student. He also demanded that the issue be resolved amicably. However, the student was also critical of the governor. The student alleged that the governor did not visit the protest venue even after coming to Kottayam. She also alleged that they trusted Governor Nandakumar.

The research student also leveled allegations against ministers VN Vasavan and R Bindu. It is alleged that there was an attempt to sabotage the case against Nandakumar, a university teacher.

The research student also alleges that former minister KK Shailaja had demanded that the complaint against Nano Centre director Nandakumar Kalarikal be withdrawn. The researcher added that Shailaja had said that years would be lost if the case continued.
