Minister Bindu attends wedding of daughter of absconding accused in Karuvannur fraud case

THRISSUR: The pictures of Minister R Bindu attending the wedding of the daughter of the absconding accused in Karuvannur bank fraud case, are out. The minister attended the wedding reception of the daughter of Ambili Mahesh, the accused in the case, the other day.

Ambili Mahesh was a member of the administration board of Karuvannur Co-operative Bank. Another board member and the main accused Kiran are yet to be arrested. Many including the bank secretary and president were arrested earlier.

The minister has not yet responded on the issue. Meantime, party sources said that the minister attended the wedding as it was a function held in her own constituency.
