MUNNAR: A film crew was detained at a hotel for not paying the hotel bill. Actor Kalidas Jayaram and others were detained at a hotel in Munnar.

The team came to Munnar to shoot a Tamil web series. The group was stopped by hotel officials after the production company failed to pay the room rent and restaurant bill. The issue was resolved when the company paid the bill after discussions with the police.
