Thrissur mayor writes to Suresh Gopi, thanks him for love and consideration in development of Thrissur

THRISSUR: Suresh Gopi has maintained his love for the development of Thrissur despite an unfavourable people's mandate in the elections. Thrissur Mayor MK Varghese has now written a letter thanking Suresh Gopi for allocating Rs 1 crore from the MP fund. Suresh Gopi shared the letter on Facebook, which begins with the words 'Loving Suresh Gopi ji'.

Suresh Gopi, who contested in the Lok Sabha elections in Thrissur, could not win but got 2.93 lakh votes. He won 40,000 votes in the Assembly elections and was able to put up a strong fight. Despite his failure, he vowed to help as an MP. The funds sanctioned by the MP will be used for the comprehensive development of the vegetable and fish market in Shaktan Thampuran Nagar. The project has been prepared and sent to Suresh Gopi by the corporation. The mayor also mentioned this in the letter. The mayor concludes his letter by thanking Suresh Gopi for his love and consideration in the comprehensive development of Thrissur.
