Kerala records 2676 COVID-19 cases on Friday, 11 deaths

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state confirmed 2676 COVID-19 cases on Friday. Among these, 2453 persons developed the disease through contact, including 156 cases without an identified source of infection. 42 persons, who came from outside the state, tested positive for the virus. 25 health workers contracted the disease on Friday.

2742 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of now, there are 19,416 active cases in the state.

The state confirmed 11 deaths due to the virus on Friday with the toll rising to 47,794.

Ernakulam 503, Thiruvananthapuram 500, Kozhikode 249, Thrissur 234, Kottayam 224, Kannur 170, Kollam 144, Pathanamthitta 116, Wayanad 115, Malappuram 113, Alappuzha 110, Palakkad 87, Idukki 77, Kasaragod 34.
