Kerala: 98,084 children receive vaccine on second day

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: As many as 98,084 children in the state received the first dose of the Covid vaccine on the second day of vaccination for children in the 15-18 age group. Thrissur district came first with 16,625 vaccines given on the second day. Kannur secured the second spot by vaccinating 16,474 children, while Palakkad came third by vaccinating 11,098 children. With this, a total of 1,36,767 children in the state were given the first dose. Minister Veena George said 8.92 percent of children were vaccinated in two days.
