'Stunts- Thyagarajan', we have seen this name among the credits of many movies. Thyagarajan Master has been in the Indian film industry for more than six decades. Among those movies, Spadikam is a Mohanlal movie that Malayalees have always been proud of. There were high risky stunt scenes throughout the film. Actor Maniyan Pillai Raju recently shared his memories of the movie, in which Mohanlal even went to the extent of risking his life for a shot. He said even Thyagarajan master had to scold Mohanlal after filming that scene
Words of Maniyan Pillai Raju
In a scene, Mohanlal is driving a jeep to the Changanassery market. He then jumps out of the jeep and the jeep falls into the water with a policeman inside it. Arrangements for the scene were done by the stunt master Thyagarajan. A petrol jeep with power should be used in during such a scene. But that day it was a diesel jeep that was brought in. Mohanlal jumped beyond what the stunt master told him. The scene turned out to be excellent but extremely risky. It was the first time that Thyagarajan Master got angry with Mohanlal.
"What would I do if someone like you passed away? Wasn't that so risky? Would even stunt performers do that? You were told to jump earlier, weren't you?", Thyagarajan master asked Lal.
