PALAKKAD: A forest fire is spreading in the Attappallam valley in Walayar. The fire, which broke out last Saturday, has already reached the top of the hill. The fire has not yet been brought under control despite the efforts of the 40-member unit of the fire brigade. Currently, the fire brigade is trying to prevent the fire from spreading to more areas.

The fire force members are trying to contain the fire by dividing themselves into two groups. Forest officials said they were monitoring the situation using drones.
