KOCHI: The Film Exhibitors United Organisation of Kerala (FEUOK) is planning to expel actor Dileep and producer Antony Perumbavoor. Dileep is presently FEUOK’s lifetime chairman and Antony the vice-chairman. FEUOK's decision is to amend the organization's constitution to expel the two from their posts. A decision will be taken at the general body meeting to be convened on March 31.

The theatre owners are also planning to control those releasing films on OTT regularly. FEUOK had recently banned Dulquar's production company Wayfarer Films. The decision was taken following the release of the star's new film Salute in OTT.

FEUOK clarified that there was an agreement that Salute could be released in theatres but later was an OTT release. Their decision is not to cooperate with Dulqar’s films in future. The organisation had a dispute with Antony over the release of Marakkar.

The Film Exhibitors Federation had split in 2017 and then formed FEUOK under the leadership of Dileep. Dileep and Antony Perumbavoor were elected as lifetime chairman and vice chairman. The Constitution said elections were not required in either of these posts. The organization has now decided to change this decision through an amendment.
