Kavya asked to appear at 2 pm today, cannot question at home, notice served to actress

KOCHI: The crime branch has served a notice to Kavya Madhavan, wife of Dileep, asking her to appear for interrogation at 2 pm today in the actress attack case. The crime branch team said they could not question her at home. Kavya has also been asked to suggest another convenient place instead of her house. The crime branch said the rule is that can be questioned at their residence or any other convenient location but should not summon them to the station. However, Kavya has not yet responded to it.

Kavya should be questioned by showing some video footages using a projector and making her hear some conversations. The crime branch assessed that the couple’s house ‘Padma Sarovaram’ is not a suitable place for it. Meantime, there is a possibility of interrogation at Kavya's flat in Vennala, Kochi. The family is considering this.

The investigation team have stuck notices at the houses of Dileep's brother Anoop and sister's husband T N Suraj. They were directed to appear at the crime branch office for questioning in the morning. The notices were stuck in the houses as they could not be contacted on the phone. However, the lawyers informed the investigation team that they could not appear as they are not in station.
