MALAPPURAM: Muslim League leader PK Kunhalikutty has reacted strongly against the CPM for inviting the Muslim League to join the Left Front. Kunhalikutty, who had earlier taken a soft approach to EP Jayarajan's invitation, reacted strongly this time.

"The Muslim League is the backbone of the UDF. The league does not have a method of changing the front just like changing clothes. There is no point in the argument that anyone would leave the UDF dissatisfied," Kunhalikutty said.

Kunhalikutty's response came ahead of the League leadership meeting in Malappuram. His response came as the League leadership was about to discuss the criticism that Kunhalikutty's initial reaction to Jayarajan's invitation was confusing.
