NAGPUR: Days after the release of Rahul Gandhi’s night club video, another video of partying Congress workers has surfaced on social media. The BJP has shared a video claiming that Congress youth workers were having a gala time dancing and enjoying in Nagpur. The video was tweeted by BJP's national spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla. However, the video’s authenticity has not been verified. In the 24-second video clip, people are seen dancing to music amid flashy lights. Neither the Congress nor the Youth Congress have responded on the matter yet. There has been widespread criticism on social media against the leaders and activists participating in parties while the party struggles with unprecedented issues. ‘How could they do this?’, many have asked in comments.

Recently, a video of Rahul Gandhi partying at a nightclub in Kathmandu had sparked a controversy, earlier this month. Rahul’s political rivals had weaponised the video as well. The leader’s absence from India amid the communal violence in Congress-ruled Rajasthan, had then drawn in a lot of criticism. Many lashed out the Congress and alleged that it was their new culture to hang around nightclubs. However, the Congress justified the video claiming that Rahul had visited Nepal in order to attend a friend's wedding.
