Minister does not hold consultations; Chittayam Gopakumar lodges complaint with the LDF leadership

PATHANAMTHITTA: The battle between Deputy Speaker Chittayam Gopakumar and Health Minister Veena George is intensifying. Chittayam Gopakumar has lodged a complaint with the LDF leadership against Veena George. In his complaint, Chittayam Gopakumar alleged that the minister was not holding consultations. Gopakumar's move came after the health minister lodged a complaint with the LDF leadership against him. He has lodged the complaint with LDF convener EP Jayarajan and CPI state secretary Kanam Rajendran.

Earlier, Veena George had lodged a complaint with the LDF leadership against the Chittayam Gopakumar, who publicly leveled allegations against her. Chittayam Gopakumar had openly said that the minister, who was in charge of the Pathanamthitta district, had failed miserably in coordinating the MLAs.

Chittayam Gopakumar had criticized the minister for not inviting him to events in Pathanamthitta on the occasion of the first anniversary of the government.
