‘I didn’t know he was here, I was in tears when I saw him, my voice choked,’ says Navya Nair

Actress Navya Nair’s voice choked with emotion while talking at a programme organised at the Gandhi Bhavan in Pathanapuram. She got emotional seeing actor T P Madhavan at the Gandhi Bhavan. She was talking after receiving the award for best actress of Gandhi Bhavan rural film institute.

She said, ‘As soon as she came here, saw T P Madhavan Chettan. We had worked together in Kalyanaraman and Chathikatha Chanthu. I didn’t know that he was here. It was a big shock seeing him here.

I wanted to come to Gandhi Bhavan and meet the people living here. I was able to come only at the time of the programme. So I couldn’t go inside and see the inmates. But when I came here, I saw T P Madhavan Chettan. I was in tears seeing him. I felt that it is true that none of us could say anything about our lives.’
