Months old body remains found in Kozhikode; bones and skull found scattered

KOZHIKODE: The remains of a body were found in a forested area adjacent to the rubber estate in Thiruvambadi. The bones and skull were found near Thiruvambadi Vappat Penakavu. Police also found a piece of cloth tied to a nearby tree. The remains are found to be months old.

A man who went to collect firewood at the estate found the bones and skull around 6 pm on Saturday. He later informed the locals and the police. The police who reached the spot registered a case and are investigating. Police said there would be further steps including a post-mortem.
