Nayanthara-Vignesh Shivan wedding on June 9; digital invitation out, change in venue

New information about the much awaited wedding of star couple Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan has surfaced. A digital invitation, purportedly sent by the actors, has come out confirming the rumours about their wedding on June 9. The invitation was released by an online media channel.

The wedding card is in the form of a motion poster. Earlier, rumours were rife that the couple will tie the knot at Tirupati. However, according to the invitation, the wedding will take place at Mahabalipuram. In the card, the names of the bride and groom are written as Nayan and Wikki.

The duo fell in love during the shoot of the movie ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan’, directed by Vignesh Sivan, which was released in 2015. Nayanthara was the heroine of the movie. The couple got engaged last year.

Nayan and Wikki’s latest movie ‘Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal’ had hit the theatres on April 28. The movie, starring Vijay Sethupathi, also had Samantha in a lead role. Nayanthara’s next release is ‘O2’, a Tamil movie starring Ajith, which will be directed by Vignesh Shivan.
