NEW DELHI: Union Home Minister Amit Shah today met National Security Advisor Ajit Doval to review the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir amid increasing terror attacks on Hindus.

The meeting is said to have lasted more than an hour. Amit Shah will also meet RAW chief Samant Goel and Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha tomorrow.

Violence against Hindus has been on the rise in Kashmir recently. Eight people, including three policemen, have been killed in various parts of the valley since May 1. A bank manager from Rajasthan was shot dead by a terrorist in Kulgam today.

Last Tuesday, a Hindu teacher and a government official were shot dead by terrorists at their workplaces in a similar manner last month.

Jammu and Kashmir BJP president Ravinder Raina has said that the recent killings in the valley were a Pakistani conspiracy to intimidate and sabotage the central government's efforts to restore peace in Kashmir.

Kashmiri Pandits had yesterday threatened of mass migration due to constant attacks. The community members were blocked in their camps which led to huge protests.
