Lightning inspection by food safety department in capital city, seize 9600 kilos of stale fish

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Stale fish were seized in Anchuthengu. 9600 kilograms of stale fish were seized in a flash inspection by the food safety department. The fish found in an auctioning market of a private person was destroyed. The fish was kept in five containers. The samples were sent for examination to know the presence of chemicals in the fish. Meantime, there are reports that a woman who bought tuna from a market in Kadakkavoor found worms in it.
