THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Sabha TV is likely to cancel its contract with the company that helped Anitha Pullayil, Monson Mavungal’s mediator in the antiques fraud case, to enter into the assembly complex during the Loka Kerala Sabha proceedings. It has been found that a representative of the company had facilitated Anitha’s entry into the assembly. The decision to take action against the company was taken as the incident had tarnished the image of the Loka Kerala Sabha and the legislative assembly.

A report in the regard has been submitted to Speaker M B Rajesh for consideration. However, the speaker will take a decision on the matter only after arriving at Thiruvananthapuram, on Thursday. The company had been providing technical support to Sabha TV on a contract basis. Earlier, the broadcasting of Anitha Pullayil’s interview in Sabha TV’s OTT platform had also stoked a controversy.
