THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Speaker M B Rajesh will announce action in the incident in which Anitha Pullayil, Monson Mavungal’s mediator in the antiques fraud case, had entered into the assembly complex during the Loka Kerala Sabha proceedings. The action will be announced today in a press conference.

According to the chief marshal’s report on the incident, Anitha’s entry to the assembly complex was facilitated by the employees of Bitrate Solutions, a company that provides OTT assistance to Sabha TV. The speaker will take action on the basis of the report. Earlier, the security officials on duty had said that Anitha was allowed to enter the complex as she had an invitation letter to attend the Sabha TV open forum.

The invitations for guests at the open forum were extended by NORKA to various expatriate organizations. As per estimates, Anitha would have received the invitation via these organizations. However, NORKA was of the opinion that there was no need to inquire into the matter as she was not invited by them.

As part of the measures, the contract with Bitrate Solutions will be cancelled. It is not likely to be renewed afterwards. However, the company will continue for the current assembly session as it is not practical to dismiss them, two days ahead of the session.
