Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan condemned the attack on AKG Centre. The great AKG and the office named after him, the progressive movements, are sentiments that people hold close to their hearts. The chief minister said that strict directions have been given to the police to find the culprits and bring them before law and asked that no one should fall into provocation.

The chief minister had earlier visited AKG centre where a bomb was hurled. He also inspected the place where the explosive was thrown. He came to the AKG centre along with leaders TP Ramakrishnan and Anavoor Nagappan. He stopped his vehicle on the road in front of the AKG centre and walked towards the party office.
