Attack on Rahul Gandhi's office: SFI Wayanad district committee dissolved

WAYANAD: The SFI state committee has decided to dissolve the SFI Wayanad district committee in the wake of the attack on Rahul Gandhi MP's office in Wayanad. An ad hoc committee has replaced the Wayanad District Committee. A seven-member ad hoc committee has been constituted.

29 people, including SFI district secretary and president, were arrested in the case. The CPM leadership had asked the SFI to take strict action in the case of the attack on Rahul Gandhi's office which was controversial even at the national level.

The SFI activists attacked Rahul Gandhi's office after conducting a march alleging that the Wayanad MP was not intervening in the buffer zone issue.
