Case won't stand, Police will submit report in favour of E P Jayarajan

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The police will file a report in favour of LDF convenor E P Jayarajan in the incident of manhandling Youth Congress workers who protested against Chief Minister on flight. The charges imposed upon him includes attempt to murder and conspiracy. The police will inform in the court that the private petition related to the case will not stand and there is no need for arrest and the FIR should be quashed.

The statements of complainants Farzeen Majeed, R K Naveen Kumar, passengers and crew will be taken. Shankhumugam Assistant Commissioner D K Prithviraj informed the government that the complaint was fabricated. Case has also been registered against CM's gunman Anil Kumar and V M Sudheesh, his personal staff.
