Actor assault case: Survivor seeks permission to attend trial

KOCHI: The survivor in actor assault case has filed an application in the trial court seeking the permission to attend the trial along with the prosecution. She sought permission to appear through the counsel and also requested a copy of the further investigation report submitted by the investigation team.

The survivor has approached the Ernakulam Special Additional Sessions court as the further investigation report was submitted to trial court. If the court allows, then the survivor's advocate will also attend the trial along with the Special Public Prosecutor Adv. Aja Kumar.
