NEW DELHI: Chief Ministers of Telangana and Bihar will boycott the NITI Aayog meeting. Telangana Chief Minister Chandrasekhara Rao decided not to attend the meeting, in protest against the Centre's 'discrimination' against states. Chandrasekhara Rao has also written to the Prime Minister expressing his protest.
Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, who was recently infected with Covid, informed that he will stay away from the meeting due to health issues. Meanwhile, some reports claim that Nitish Kumar decided not to attend the meeting due to differences with the BJP. Nitish Kumar will be attending the Janata Durbar meeting in the state on Monday. He will also participate in discussions with constituent party leaders. This is the second time in a month that Nitish Kumar is skipping the meeting attended by the Prime Minister.
