10 years, 64 countries; world's longest honeymoon by US couple Mike and Anne Howard

KOTTAYAM: 10 years, 64 countries- US couple Mike Howard (44) and Anne (39) are continuing their honeymoon trip. The journey aimed at travelling around the world started on Januray 2012. Now the trip became a part of their life.

Both arrived in India from Bhutan. They traveled through Fort Kochi last day. Then they went to Kumarakom and travelled in houseboat. The couple then left for Munnar by KSRTC bus yesterday afternoon to enjoy the snow and mountains. They will reach Goa on August 14, the National Honeymoon Day. After India, they travel to countries Croatia, Bosnia and Slovakia.

Both lived in a rented house in New York. When they began the journey, the couple started a website called 'Honeytrek' to share the details. The books 'Ultimate Journeys for Two' and 'Comfortably Wild' which deals with their trips became popular. Their source of income is from books and website. They travel by public transport to save costs and eats only vegetarian food. The couple stays with families in respective country at minimal cost. They say that the world is their home.
