Case against CPM local leaders for attacking house by team led by panchayat member

KOTTAYAM: A case has been registered in the incident of attacking a house in Thrikodithanam. A case was registered against three including CPM panchayat member. The case was taken against panchayat member Baiju, Sunil and Miju under charges of assault with weapons and housebreaking.

The team attacked youth congress district secretary Manu Kumar and block secretary Anto Antony. The two are undergoing treatment. Police said the attack was following a border dispute and the accused have been charged with non-bailable offences. Meantime, Youth Congress activists alleged that the police action was delayed.
