Cop bangs wife’s head against wall, brutally thrashes her and bites her, suspended from service

MALAPPURAM: A cop who brutally thrashed his wife has been suspended. N Shailesh, a native of Morayur in Kondotty and civil police officer of Tirur Station in Malappuram, was suspended as part of the investigation. The woman who lost consciousness in the attack was seriously injured.

The couple’s son informed the woman’s relatives that his mother is lying unconscious. He told them that his mother is not waking up despite calling and soon her relatives arrived and rushed her to the hospital.

Shailesh banged his wife’s head against the wall and even bit her. There were bruises all over her body. Her fingers are also fractured. She has been admitted at Manjeri Medical College Hospital. Soon after lodging a complaint at the district police chief, the investigation of the case was handed over to the crime branch. The couple got married in 2014.
