KOCHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday returned from Kerala after commissioning INS Vikrant, India's first indigenously designed and built aircraft carrier. Governor Arif Mohammed Khan, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and DGP Anil Kant were at the Kochi Airport to see off the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister held the hands of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, who bid him a good bye with folded hands. These pictures of their camaraderie has gone viral on social media.
The Prime Minister arrived in Kerala on Thursday evening. He also inaugurated the new phase of Kochi Metro and railway development projects in Kerala. Modi also attended BJP's general meeting. Then he also visited the Adi Shankara Janmabhoomi temple at Kalady.
