Bollywood has been going through severe crises for the past few days. The film industry, battered by boycott campaigns and successive failures, is now pinning its hopes on the upcoming release 'Brahmastra Part One: Shiva'.
The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, Nagurjana among others in lead roles. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, ‘Brahamstra’ will be released in three parts. The south Indian distribution rights of the movie has been acquired by filmmaker S S Rajamouli. The film will hit theatres in five languages namely Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.

The movie is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, Fox Star Studios, Prime Focus and Starlight Pictures. The first part of the movie will be released on September 9, 2022.
Now, the advance booking of the movie has been kicked off on a positive note. In a tweet, PVR Cinemas said that over one lakh tickets have been sold so far. The overall budget of the movie is Rs 410 crores.
