Two killed in bike-lorry collision in Malappuram

MALAPPURAM: Two people were killed after a pick-up lorry hit a bike. The accident happened at Velimukku in Tirurangadi, Malappuram. The two dead are Abdullah Koya of Vengara and Faiz Ameen of Balusseri.

The accident happened Tuesday early morning on Thrissur-Kozhikode national highway. The over speeded pick-up lorry hit the bike while overtaking a car. The two on the bike were killed on the spot itself. The driver of the lorry sustained serious injuries. The bodies have been shifted to Tirurangadi taluk hospital.
