BJP organizes two-week long events to celebrate Modi's birthday

NEW DELHI: The BJP has decided to celebrate Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 72nd birthday from today to Gandhi Jayanti on October 2 as a service week. The party is all set to organize the ‘Vividhita Mein Ekta’ programme with the message of 'Ek Bharat Sresht Bharat'. Moreover, blood donation camps and health check-up camps are being conducted in every district of the country. This is with the aim of making the country tuberculosis free by 2025. People will be encouraged to provide necessary medicine and nutrition to TB patients in the coming year.

Tree plantation drive, cleanliness drive etc. are also planned. BJP National President JP Nadda has suggested uploading the related photos on the Namo app. BJP Tamil Nadu unit will give gold rings to children born today.

At the same time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, returning to the country after the SOS summit in Uzbekistan, will attend the ceremony at Madhya Pradesh's Kuno National Park to receive eight cheetahs brought from Namibia. Later, the Prime Minister will interact with IIT students at a conference of women's self-help groups in Madhya Pradesh and then at the first Dikshant Samaroh today, Vishwakarma Jayanti. The Prime Minister's fourth programme today is the launch of the National Logistics Policy.
