MUMBAI: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's body double Sagar Pandey died on Friday after suffering a heart attack. According to sources, Sagar collapsed while working out at the gym on Friday. Although he was immediately rushed to the Hindu Hruday Samrat Balasaheb Thackerey Trauma Care Municipal Hospital, he could not be saved. It was Shah Rukh Khan's stunt double Prashant Walde who broke the news of Sagar's death. Sagar had worked as Salman Khan's body double in many films.
Salman Khan later paid an emotional tribute to Sagar Pandey, who worked for him in over fifty films, including Dabaang and Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
The superstar shared a throwback picture from the sets of the 2015 film 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan'. In the image, he is seen posing with Pandey with "RIP" written. Alongside the picture, Salman wrote a thank you note for Pandey for being with him.
He wrote: "Dil se shukar adda kar raha hoon for being there with me. May your soul rest in peace brother Sagar. Thank u #RIP #SagarPandey."
