KOZHIKODE: The presence of party dissident leaders in the foundation chaired by Hyderali Thangal's son Mueen Ali Shihab Thangal has shaken the Muslim League leadership. Although the move of Mueen Ali, who is also the National Vice President of the Youth League, has made news and has caused great discomfort among the leaders, party president Hyderali suggested that there is no need for an immediate response or action on the issue.

Meanwhile, Dr. MK Muneer said that the action of Mueen Ali, who formed the foundation in the name of his father, cannot be criticised. "However, the party leadership should examine the matter as the foundation has many who were expelled from the party or removed from office. The decision in this regard belongs to the party state president," Muneer said.

Kunhalikutty is target of rebels

It is reported that the dissidents, who have come out against Kunhalikutty directly and indirectly against the stands of the party leadership, and Mueen Ali have the blessings of some senior leaders including Muneer. Kunhalikutty is everyone's target. Kunhalikutty's infallibility within the League over the years and his soft approach towards the Left had caused great displeasure in the League leadership.
