Three arrested for assaulting cop, damaging police jeep in Thrissur

THRISSUR: Three members of a criminal gang who beat up a sub-inspector who stopped the sale of drugs have been arrested. Suraj (18), Ajith (23) and Akhil (21), natives of Edavilangu, were arrested. A case was registered against them under the non-bailable section.

Mathilakam SI Midhun Mathew was attacked by this criminal gang. During the violence, the SI suffered injuries on his face. The assailants also broke the window of a police jeep.
