Heavy rain predicted in 12 districts of Kerala on Saturday, yellow alert issued

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The IMD has predicted heavy rains in Kerala due to the influence of cyclonic circulation along with the northeast monsoon. Yellow alert has been declared today in all districts except Kannur and Kasaragod. As per the warning, isolated heavy rain is also possible. Cyclones are also present in the southwest Bay of Bengal, along the southern Tamil Nadu coast. Due to its influence, rains are likely to continue in the next few days.
