KANNUR: There are reports that another person also assaulted the six-year-old boy who was standing near a car parked on the roadside. A passer-by came and hit him on the head and dragged him away. The incident happened when the boy was looking at the car.

Meanwhile, Kerala’s Child Rights Commission has said that if the police do not file a case, they will intervene. The commission asked the police to examine the CCTV visuals. The visuals of Muhammad Shihshad (20) kicking the boy who was leaning on his car parked on the roadside came out the other day. The passer-by hit the boy on the head just before Shihshad kicking him.

The incident took place near Manavatti Junction in Thalassery around 8 pm on Thursday night. The boy was leaning on a car parked in the no parking area at Kodumvalavill. Shihshad came outside from the driving seat and kicked the boy. The youth’s justification to those who questioned the violence was that the boy tried to harm the people in the car. When the visuals came out, it was proved to be wrong.
