Tamil actor Sathish was widely criticized on social media for making fun of the actress's dress in public. The incident happened during the launch of the movie "Oh My Ghost". The heroines Sunny Leone and Dharsha Gupta were present at the event.
Sunny Leone wore a green saree and Dharsha Gupta wore a crop top and lehenga. The controversial remark of the actor regarding the dressing of actress Darsha came while they were on the stage.
"Sunny Leone came to Tamil Nadu for us from Mumbai. Look at how she is dressed. Look at Dharsha who came from Coimbatore. It is Sunny Leone who has come dressed according to our culture," said Sathish. Dharsha was visibly irked by the actor's comment.
I mean - To actually *point* at a woman and ask for mass heckling of a crowd by a man on a woman who doesn’t dress according to culture.

As the incident became controversial, Sathish came up with an explanation. The actor said that he spoke like this after asking Dharsha."Dharsha was curious as to what kind of dress Sunny Leone would wear. The actress was surprised when she saw her wearing a saree. I said that as a joke." - Sathish said.
The actress responded on Twitter whether any person would ask to speak bad things about themselves.
