NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday lashed out at the Telangana government. Addressing BJP workers in Telangana, he said that he has no problem with people abusing him, but party workers should not fall for such emotional displays. Modi indirectly criticized Telangana Chief Minister Chandrashekar Rao and said that the state needs a government that gives priority to the people rather than a government that gives importance to the family.
According to Modi, the KCR government is trying to hide the development activities of the central government in Telangana. He also alleged that the opposition parties are joining the anti-BJP alliance because they are afraid of investigations by central agencies into allegations of corruption. Modi also mocked KCR's superstitions. He blamed KCR's superstitions regarding the location of residence and office and selection of cabinet members as a major hindrance to social justice.
