Man kills wife suspecting infidelity, chops body into pieces, similar to Shraddha model murder in UP 

LUCKNOW: Another case has been reported in Uttar Pradesh's Sitapur similar to the brutal murder of Shraddha Walkar in Delhi. Pankaj Maurya killed his wife Jyothi, chopped her body into pieces and then dumped it in many places. He told police that he killed his wife as she was addicted to drugs.

The police arrested Pankaj Maurya after finding her body parts in Gulariha area. His aide, who helped him in the murder was also arrested. He told police that his wife, a drug addict, used to stay at someone’s house for several days. Due to this, their relationship had gone sour. Pankaj planned to kill her on suspicion of cheating him. The couple got married for over ten years. He confessed to the police that he chopped the body into pieces so that no one could identify it. He first told police that he chopped the body into pieces alone. However, when grilled further, he revealed about his friend.

Shraddha Walker was brutally murdered by her live-in partner Aftab Amin Poonawala. He strangled her after she forced him to marry her. He then chopped her body into 35 pieces and dumped it in many places.
