THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Governor Arif Mohammad Khan said that he started corrective measures as the Governor when he was fed up after getting pressurized by the state government. He also blamed that there was pressure from the state government to do things against the rules.
"Both Kerala High Court and the Supreme Court upheld my stand. I'm ready to resign if it is proved that I've done something illegal. Is there evidence to show that I intervened in the functioning or policy of the state government? I am ready to resign if there is proof of it. The state government is trying to encroach on the independent authority of the university," he said.
