Sree Narayana Dharma Sangham Trust: Swami Subhangananda elected General Secretary

SIVAGIRI: The Trust Board meeting held on Thursday elected Swami Subhangananda as the General Secretary of Sree Narayana Dharma Sangham Trust. This is after Swami Ritambharananda, who was the general secretary of the Trust, resigned from the position. Dharma Sangham Trust President Swami Satchidananda presided over the meeting.

Currently, Swami Subhangananda is the secretary of Sree Narayana Gurukulam, Chempazhanthy. He has also worked as the secretary of the Gurudharma Pracharana Sabha, a feeder organization of the Sivagiri Mutt. Following the election, Swami Subhangananda took oath at Mahasamadhi. President Swami Satchidananda administered the oath. Swami Ritambharananda then handed over the documents to Swami Subhangananda. Dharma Sangham Trust Board Members Swami Vishudhananda, Swami Parananda, Swami Sukshmananda, Treasurer Swami Saradananda, Swami Sandrananda, Swami Bodhitheertha, Swami Vishalananda, Swami Sadrupananda, Sivagiri Mutt PRO E.M. Somanathan, Gurudharma Pracharana Sabha Registrar Adv P. M. Madhu, Vice President Anil Thadaalil, Joint Registrar CT Ajayakumar, Varkala Municipality Chairman KM Laji and other devotees participated in the oath-taking ceremony. Following this, Swami Subhangananda reached the Sivagiri Mutt office and took charge.
