ISLAMABAD: India's arch-enemy Pakistan is fighting hunger and terrorism at the same time. Pakistan, which tried to spread terrorism to India, is now grappling with terrorists it has nurtured, with food prices soaring in the country and the economy collapsing as a result. In an interview with Dubai-based Arabic news television channel Al Arabiya, Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said the three wars with India led to distress, poverty and unemployment. Sharif said his country has learnt its lesson after three wars with India.

'Live in peace and make progress, or fight each other and waste time and resources. We fought three wars with India which only brought more misery, poverty and unemployment to the people. We want to live in peace if we can solve the real problems,' the Pakistani Prime Minister said.

He added that Pakistan wants peace. The Prime Minister of Pakistan also sent a message to India that they don’t want to waste any more resources on bombs and ammunition. A video of people running after a wheat lorry in Pakistan facing a severe food shortage, had surfaced the other day. The trucks loaded with grain are being transported under heavy guard for fear of being hijacked by starving people.
