THIRUVANANTYHAPURAM: The state government’s Christmas New Year Bumper lotter has been drawn. Ticket number XD 236433 won the first prize of Rs 16 crore. The first prize winner will get an amount after deducting 10% agency commission and 30 % tax. The prize of a ticket was Rs 400.
Ten people will get second prize of Rs one crore each. The tickets XA 107077, XB 158053, XC 398288, XD 422823, XE 213859, XG 323942, XH 226052, XJ 349740, XK 110254 and XL 310145 will get the second prize of Rs 1 crore. Rs 16 crore is the second largest prize in the history of Kerala lottery. The lottery was drawn at Gorkhi Bhawan in Bakery Junction, Thiruvananthapuram at 2 pm.
The first prize of last year's Christmas-New Year bumper was Rs 12 crore. The price of the ticket was Rs 300. 43 lakh tickets printed last time were all sold out, but this time only 33 lakh tickets were printed. Out of this, 54,000 tickets could not be sold.
