Incident in which postal ballots went missing in Perinthalmanna: Police register case

MALAPPURAM: The police have registered a case on the incident in which postal ballots of the 2021 Kerala Assembly polls from the Perinthalmanna constituency went missing. The police have filed the case under the Representation of the People Act. The action is based on the Collector's inquiry report. Perinthalmanna police will investigate the case.

The Sub-Collector had submitted a report to the High Court stating that some of the valid postal votes had gone missing. As per the sub- collector's report, ballots from table number five went missing.
