LONDON: The Malayali youth, who went missing in Coventry, has been found dead. The deceased is Vishnu Jayakumar (26), a native of Thiruvananthapuram. Vishnu went missing on Saturday morning. Relatives and friends had informed that Vishnu was last seen near the Swan Lake in Coventry. Authorities have not released further details, including the cause of death. Authorities have informed the family that Vishnu’s body has been found.

Vishnu came to Coventry in 2022 to pursue a postgraduate degree in data science. After completing the course, he had been staying in London on a post-study work visa.

According to relatives, Vishnu had gone out with a friend over the weekend and was waiting for a taxi to return. After that, there was no further information about his whereabouts. When he did not return even after a long time, his family and friends searched for him, but without success. A complaint was later filed with the police. The news of his death emerged while the investigation was underway.
