Relief for expatriates; Air India Express's Riyadh and Muscat flights will not be cancelled

KOZHIKODE: Riyadh and Muscat flights have been removed from the Air India Express services that were cancelled in the wake of the Iran-Israel conflict. It has been reported that both flights will operate tonight. Air India Express officials have announced that there will be a Kozhikode-Riyadh service at 8.25 pm and a Kozhikode-Muscat flight at 11.45 pm.

Meanwhile, the Indian Air Force brought 18 more Malayalis from Israel to Delhi as part of Operation Sindhu. The second C17 flight that arrived at Delhi IGI Airport at 12 noon today had a total of 266 Indians. With this, the number of Malayalis who arrived in India from Israel today has reached 31. One person from Israel arrived on the flight that arrived at Indira Gandhi International Airport at 8 am today and 12 people arrived at Palam Airport at 8:45 am.

The Malayali group includes Joel Jayson, Dennis Jose, Manu Mannattil, Flavia Pazhayatil, Malappuram natives Sarath Shankar, Aishwarya Padma Das, Shishira Mampramkunnath, Ernakulam natives Lakshmi Priya, Aswathy Anil Kumar, Justin George, Raghavendra Chaudhary, Eliyamma Malayappalil Thomas (Mananthavady), Sujith Rajan (Kollam), Nila Nanda (Palakkad), Thiruvananthapuram native Arjun Chandramohanan, his wife Krishnapriya, P.R. Rajesh (Pathanamthitta) and Akshay Puravankara (Kannur). They will be brought back to the country through the airports of Kochi, Kannur, Thiruvananthapuram and Kozhikode.
