Indian killed in Strait of Hormuz clash between U.S. and Iran

DUBAI: An Indian national was killed during a clash between the U.S. and Iranian naval forces in the Strait of Hormuz. The attack targeted a cargo ship that was travelling from Dubai to Yemen. Seventeen people were rescued.

There are unconfirmed reports that the vessel was an Indian ship. The ship caught fire after the attack and later sank completely. Neither the United States nor Iran has responded to the incident so far.
